IOP provides support for adults who need more treatment than weekly therapy sessions, but who don’t qualify to be admitted to the hospital full time. The program consists of three hours of therapy, three times a week.

What days and times is IOP offered?
The Intensive Outpatient Program at Salt Lake Behavioral Health is held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Morning schedule: 10 am – 1:15 pm
Evening schedule: 5 pm – 8:15 pm

What therapies does IOP include?
Our treatment includes Cognitive Processing Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
How many weeks do patients usually attend IOP?
Typically, patients attend IOP for four to six weeks, as needed. Salt Lake Behavioral Health also offers a free lifetime weekly follow-up group for alumni.
